We are living in a strange time when a huge chunk of the information available on the internet is downright Faux. Yes, you might have come beyond the term "Faux News," which is a type of xanthous journalism or propaganda that consists of deliberate misinformation. Sadly, the fake news miracle is non express to just politics and I stumbled upon fake news in our very ain tech world.

Yesterday I came across a study near OnePlus planning to bring the "Ten" serial back from the dead. Although I didn't want to describe any conclusions, I knew it was simulated. I hateful, why would OnePlus want to put in the endeavour to relaunch a failed device, specially when they're already doing a great job with OnePlus 5T? As information technology turns out, the study was fake, and the same has been confirmed by Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus.

Carl Pei quoted a tweet on Twitter and confirmed that OnePlus is not working on a OnePlus 10 successor. In fact, he added another tweet to the thread in which he conspicuously indicated that it was fake news. Here'southward what he tweeted:

In case yous're wondering what the news was all about? It was start reported past TechPP, which said that the company was reportedly working on the OnePlus X successor. According to written report, the Chinese smartphone maker was working on a device called the OnePlus X2 (a possible proper name), and it would be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 SoC.

Why Snapdragon 835 SoC? Apparently, OnePlus was stuck with a number of Snapdragon 835 SoC units, and information technology was planning to offload them with this device during the holidays.

The source also reported that the device would sport 5.5-inch AMOLED brandish, 4GB RAM, and 32/64GB storage and it would be launched afterwards the OnePlus 6. Merely the eye-catching fact was the price tag. The report said that the OnePlux X2 would be priced somewhere between 16,000 INR to eighteen,000 INR. At this price, the device was also said to offer face unlock and a 16MP front-facing photographic camera. Likewise good to be true, isn't information technology?

Well, now that yous know how news can be fabricated, information technology is worth making a note that you must be extremely cautious about what y'all're reading online. Ever brand sure to cantankerous-bank check the original source of the news, before drawing any conclusions.
